DRESS CODE
Boys
The Students are Requested to Adhere

To The Following Strictly Boys
(i)Hair -Hair-Short hair, no colouring of hair.
(ii) Collar Button – Should be always fastened.
(iii) Tie – Available in school, should be bright and
clean. No faded ties allowed.
(iv) Hands – Nails Should be clean and short. No tatoos allowed.
(v) Shirts – – As per instructions, one length either half or full as per the notification and tucked in.
(vi) Trousers – As per instructions no tight fitting or baggies or low waist.
(vii) Belt – As per instructions no tight fitting or baggies or low waist.
(viii) Socks – Must be pulled up.
(ix) Shoes – Naughty Boy type shoes only.
High heels or any other design not allowed
(x)Watch – Permitted (simple models) for class V-XII only with black leather belt.
(xi) Identity Card – Must be worn around the neck daily to school.
(xii) Spectacles Frame – Black or Brown.
(xiii) Ornaments – Not at all allowed.
N.B.: No other accessories allowed
(xiv) Mobiles not allowed
Girls
The Students are Requested to Adhere To The Following Strictly-Girls
(i) Hair – White hair band for short hair
If long, to be tied with black elastic band No long hair to be kept open. No colouring of
hair.
(ii) Collar Button – Should be always fastened.
(iii) Tie- Available in school, should be bright and
clean. No faded ties allowed.
(iv) Hands – Nails Should be clean and short without any polish. No mehendi, tatoos.
(v) Blouses – As per instructions, must be well pressed and not faded and always tucked in.
vi) Skirts – Should be till half of the knee. Must be well pressed. No tight fitting skirts.
(vii) Belt – As per instructions and available in school.
(viii) Socks – Must be ankle length.
(ix) Shoes Buckle shoes, must be polished. No high heels or sandals.
(x) Watch – Permitted (simple models) for class X-XII only with black leather belt. Compulsory
Black or Brown.
(xi) Identity Card – Compulsory
(xii) Spectacles Frame- Black Or Brown
(xiii) Ornaments – Only small student earrings.
(xiv) Leggings – Red for Morning section and grey for day section.

A
The following acts and conduct on the part of students will amount to misconduct :
- i) Misbehaviour towards teachers or any other employee of the school.
- ii) Intentional Disturbance of the classes.
iii) Absent from classes without the permission of the teacher/ Headmistress
- iv) Bullying/Intimidation of others.
- v) Eve-teasing/misbehaviour towards girl students.
- vi) Damaging/disfiguration of school property.
vii) Propagating a strike/disruption of classes.
viii) Association with banned organisation.
- ix) Propagating communal / caste feeling amongst the students.
- x) Indulging in physical violence.
- xi) Disobeying lawful orders of the teacher/Vice-Principal/Principal.I
xii) Bringing unauthorised people/articles inside the school.
xiii) Theft/Pilferage of school/student’s property.
xiv) Any behaviour unbecoming of a student.
- xv) Indulging in acts of moral turpitude. xvi) Bringing mobile phones to the school.
xvii) Wearing Low-waste Trousers/pants.

In above acts of misconduct, Headmistress may take suitable action as per observations of the disciplinary committee depending on the gravity of the misconduct, which may include:
- i) Oral / written warnings to the students and parents.
- ii) Suspension from attending classes/school for a specified period.
- iii) Recovery of loss to school property.
- iv) Issue of Transfer Certificate.
- v) Expulsion/rustication from school.
RULES CONCERNING FEES
- Fees are payable in advance before the 10th of every month in HDFC Bank, Chiriamore Branch from L.N to Class XII. You can also pay online atom. A late fine Rs.100per day will be levied after the 10th.of every month.
- Students who have not cleared their fees will not be allowed to sit for tests or terminal examinations.
- Students clearing due fees on the day of the report, would not be issued the report card on the same day; instead it would be given on the following day.
- In case of replacing a lost fee book or identity card Rs.150/- would be charged for the same.
- Fee books must be shown at the office to get admit cards for terminal examinations.
- Students failing to pay fees for 3 consecutive months have to re-register their names by paying Rs.1500/- at the Bank counter.
- Full Session fees is to be paid.
REVIEW SYSTEM
Review charges of Final Terminal answer scripts would be Rs. 100/- per subject along with an application. Test copies must be signed and re- turned immediately.
First Term & Second Term answer script will be shown to all.
2ND & 3RD LANGUAGE
2ND & 3RD LANGUAGE
Students from Lower Nursery to Class-II must take one second lan- guage. i.e. Bengali or Hindi along with the first language, English. From Class-III to class-VIII along with the second language, every student has to learn a 3rd Language i.c. if Hindi is the 2nd language then Bengali would be the first language. The 3rd language Terminal paper would be on 50 marks. A student must get at least 20 marks to pass in it.

RULES OF ABSENCE / ATTENDANCE
Parents will be getting attendence intimation via their class teachers. Guardians must write the cause of absence in the Absent Column in case of one day’s leave. Three or more days shall call for a medical certificate with an application. Homeopathic certificate will not be accepted. It is to be noted that a student can enjoy 30 days of leave besides the school holiday in one academic year. 75% attendance is a must for promotion. In case he/she has lesser than that a compounding fee has to be paid at the end of the academic year. Lesser that 50% attendance would mean a repetition of the same class.
This fine amount is to be paid before the annual examination. Please note that Saturdays and Sundays are holidays. Absence on the days of School Programmes and School Festivals is forbidden. Suspension, fine or deduction of marks can be done if the student is absent on school programmes. 10 marks would be deducted from the full marks in the exams. Guardian call, fines and even deduction of marks can be the mode of punishment of the same.
PARENT'S MANUAL
Parents are supposed to check their wards’ school diary. regularly which is the only means to communicate with the teachers.
EXAMINATION
(i) Students have to score 34% in all subjects in order to get promotion. They will get an opportunity to clear the get failed subjects in the retests taken.
(ii) Rs. 100/- will be charged as retest fees.
(iii) Retest will be conducted immediately after the final term results are declared.
